Best Smart Thermostats for occupancy detection accuracy

#1

The mmWave occupancy sensor earned strong praise for detecting presence more accurately than basic motion sensing.

#2

Occupancy detection was viewed as improved and mostly accurate, though one reviewer noted occasional misses.

#3

Occupancy detection is split: reviewers praise the radar sensor's accuracy, but one found presence detection unreliable without enough sensors.

#4

Occupancy detection was mixed, with one reviewer praising distance sensing and another finding thermostat-only motion detection ineffective.
