Reviewers broadly liked the sound for the price, calling it clear, fun, or surprisingly close to pricier rivals, while noting it remains short of truly premium detail.

Reviewers generally liked the sound, praising detail, clarity, and musical enjoyment, though one musician-focused review called it good rather than great for mixing.

ANC was a major strength for the price, often effective for commutes and low-frequency noise, but several reviewers found it short of premium or inconsistent in harder environments.

ANC was a major limitation in L500A reviews because its absence reduced usefulness for travel and noisy environments.

Immersive audio was a major strength, with reviewers praising realism, spacious layering, and private-theater presentation.

Frequency-response comments were moderate, with cohesive, smooth output offset by limited high-end extension and resolution.

Factory tuning drew a mixed response because bass was conservative and highs were brighter than the reviewer preferred.

Bass was usually praised as deep, warm, punchy, and controlled, though several reviewers felt it could color the mix or become less clean than the original.

Bass impressions were split: L500A coverage found it precise but limited, while other supplied transcripts praised punchy or strong low-end.

Microphone noise reduction was useful in moderate conditions, but reviewers still heard background sound, wind effects, or less-than-clean processing.

Microphone noise reduction was described as decent, especially indoors, but not enough to make calls fully comfortable.

Passive isolation was considered good, helped by the over-ear cushions and fit, adding useful natural noise blocking before ANC.

Travel friendliness was limited by missing ANC/transparency features and weak suitability for flying.

Foldability and portability were strong, with reviewers appreciating the compact folding design and travel-friendly form.

Travel portability was weak because the L500A lacked a travel-friendly folding hinge and case.

Transparency mode was usable and sometimes very good, but not consistently natural; reviewers also noted hiss, muffling, or only okay voice pickup.

The app was praised as straightforward and helpful, offering enough customization without becoming overwhelming.

Call microphone quality landed around serviceable to good, with clear enough speech but occasional sibilance, underwater tone, wind weakness, or budget-headset limits.

Call use was mixed to weak: voice pickup was decent, but the lack of self-hearing/transparency made wireless calls tiring.

Smart listening extras were present and somewhat useful, though the strongest praise was for the app-level convenience rather than transformative performance.

Smart listening features were useful for fatigue reduction and long sessions, especially Listening Care and low-fatigue monitoring contexts.

Bluetooth performance was generally reliable and stable, with praise for range and connection quality across several reviews.

Bluetooth impressions were positive overall, with multipoint and low-latency wireless praised, though one review noted commonness and another had initial pairing friction.

EQ customization was a clear plus, with multiple reviewers appreciating adjustable EQ and presets for shaping the sound.

Physical controls were considered mostly intuitive and tactile, despite some cheaper-feeling rattle elsewhere in the same review.

Clamp comfort was mostly acceptable to good, with light pressure helping comfort but some reviewers noting greater clamp or a slightly loose feel.

Clamping force was a standout comfort point, described as gentle, balanced, and well suited to long sessions.

Long-term durability remained uncertain, with one reviewer specifically questioning whether the plastic build would last.

Durability expectations were positive in the WL500 review, which expected the headphones to withstand plenty of abuse over time.

Build quality was mixed: some praised rigidity and solidity, while others found plastic, feeble, creaky, or only okay construction.

Build quality was consistently praised as solid, robust, and premium for the price.

Design reactions were moderate to positive: one review called the design basic, while another found the look understated and modern.

Comfort was one of the strongest themes, with many reviewers reporting long sessions, all-day fit, light wear, and little fatigue.

Long-use comfort was usually a major strength, especially for L500A/home viewing, but one musician review found the headband uncomfortable after about an hour.

Charging feedback was positive, with fast-charge claims and measured charge times viewed as convenient and strong for travel use.

Charging was mixed: USB-C charging was praised as fast, but the L500A inability to play while charging was a notable drawback.

Battery life was the strongest consensus point, repeatedly described as exceptional, class-leading, anxiety-free, and among the best in the category.

Battery evidence was mixed: one L500A review called 20 hours low-end, while other reviews said runtime was solid or worry-free.

Auto on/off reliability was weak because one reviewer missed automatic power behavior and reported accidental battery drain.

Auto reconnect/on behavior was only middling because undocking introduced a short pairing delay.

Value for money was one of the strongest areas, with reviewers repeatedly highlighting sub-$100 pricing, strong features, and performance beyond the price.

Value was mixed: some reviews found the price fair for the focused experience, while others criticized missing features or stronger wired alternatives.

Multipoint was useful when it worked, but setup and reliability were mixed, with hidden menus, experimental status, and occasional mediocre switching.

Multipoint was viewed as useful and reliable, letting users switch between devices without awkward menu jumping.

Codec support was viewed positively for LDAC/high-res capability, though the strongest codec comments focused on support rather than broad codec breadth.

Codec support was treated as modern and useful, especially aptX Adaptive, but not uniquely exceptional at the price.

ANC background noise was usually low, with reviewers noting little hiss or only modest white noise.

ANC sound-signature impact was a concern because reviewers heard bass increase, audio blanking, or muddier sound depending on mode.
