Residue evidence was positive in one mopping test, where UV inspection showed only minimal missed traces.
Pros: Overall opinion, Obstacle Avoidance (Robot)
Cons: Price and Value, Storage footprint and upright-stand stability
Best 2023 Robotic Vacuums for Streaking / Residue
Residue and streaking evidence was mixed: floor-direction mopping was promising, but some heavy messes smeared.
Pros: Mopping performance, Self-cleaning cycle
Cons: Price and Value, Value-for-money
Streaking and residue were mild concerns, with reviewers noticing occasional streaks or sticky residue after tests.
Pros: Obstacle Avoidance (Robot), Overall opinion
Cons: Maintenance requirements, Self-cleaning cycle
Streaking was noted as a mild mopping issue in one hands-on hard-floor test.
Pros: Overall opinion, AI, Smart, App and Automation
Cons: Mopping performance, Noise level
Light mopping can finish cleanly, but high water settings or a dirty pad may leave sticky areas, smears, or streaks. Extra passes and pad rinsing improve the result.
Pros: Overall opinion, Map and Path Efficiency (Robot Vacuums)
Cons: Dock noise, Price and Value
Streaking evidence is limited but negative from a setup test that saw an unwet strip while mopping.
Pros: AI, Smart, App and Automation, Map and Path Efficiency (Robot Vacuums)
Cons: Mopping performance, Price and Value
Residue and streaking concerns appeared in litter and mopping evidence, with reviewers noting leftover cat litter and streaky water film.
Pros: Overall opinion, Mop lifting system
Cons: Obstacle Avoidance (Robot), Mopping performance
Streaking and residue were a weakness, with reviewers reporting smearing, dirt spreading, and streaking under some mop settings.
Pros: Mopping performance, AI, Smart, App and Automation
Cons: Obstacle Avoidance (Robot), Dock noise
