Detection features were one of the strongest areas, with repeated praise for people, package, vehicle, animal, face, lingering, and obstruction detection despite some edge cases.

Wired operation is useful because it can provide constant power and unlock continuous-history use when paired with the right plan.

Wired operation was valued for reliability and speed, especially over PoE, though wired power also creates placement constraints.

Field of view is adequate for broad driveway and yard coverage, but one reviewer wanted it wider and found the magnetic stand limiting indoors.

Field of view was adequate to good, but not class-leading; reviewers liked the wide view yet noted wider-area users may want another camera.

Lens distortion is minor: TechRadar noticed a slight fisheye effect but said it did not hurt clarity.

Lens distortion was only lightly discussed; one reviewer saw edge fish-eye distortion but said it did not meaningfully hurt visibility.

Battery-based power is a major flexibility advantage, though endurance and recharging still depend on placement and settings.

Battery power was a clear weakness because the camera is not wireless and lacks a built-in battery, limiting placement flexibility.

Smart search is praised in the Gemini-enabled review, where cat searches returned the correct thumbnails quickly.

Smart search and recognition accuracy were weak in the evidence, with reviewers criticizing face recognition and a local timeline that lacked useful event labeling.

Notification management is strong when it comes to zone and event filtering, but some rich notifications failed in one review.

Notification management drew criticism because detection frequency and previews could be limited, though customization options exist elsewhere.
