Compare Dyson V11 Outsize Cordless Vacuum Cleaner vs Tineco Pure One Station Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

Ease of use is mostly strong thanks to cordless convenience, auto mode, simple setup, and easy tool use, but trigger effort and weight pull scores down.

Ease of use was repeatedly praised through light handling, simple controls, frequent grab-and-go use, and strong everyday convenience.

Weight is the most consistent drawback: reviewers repeatedly call the Outsize heavy, arm-tiring, or awkward compared with smaller stick vacuums.

Weight was one of the most consistently praised traits, with repeated comments that it is extremely light, easy to hold, and below average handle weight.

Surface-safety evidence is limited but positive, with one reviewer saying the hair tool gripped upholstery gently while removing hair.

Surface safety evidence was negative in one TechRadar review, which found the power brush a little harsh on hardwood floors.

Debris illumination is highly praised in the Outsize Plus evidence, where the green laser made hidden hard-floor dust visible.

Debris illumination was split: The Gadgeteer found the headlight useful for hidden debris, while Homes & Gardens said the LEDs did not reveal much-hidden dirt.

Headlight or illumination feedback is positive where the Laser Slim Fluffy head is included, making tiny dust easier to see.

LED/headlight opinions were split: one reviewer loved the debris illumination, while Homes & Gardens found the LEDs did not reveal much hidden dirt.

Handling is split: the Outsize can swivel, glide, and cover area well, but its size, weight, and large head reduce agility in tight spaces.

Maneuverability was one of the strongest areas, with reviewers repeatedly calling it very maneuverable, easy to glide, or comfortable for longer stretches.

Crevice and groove pickup is positive in lab and pet-owner use, though the large handheld body can make tight vehicle crevices harder.

Crevice and tight-corner pickup was only average to weak, with reviewers noting average crevice results or issues in tight corners.

Pet owners report very strong hair pickup across carpets, hard floors, furniture, and pet-heavy homes, making pet cleanup one of the product’s clearest strengths.

The FurFree grooming kit and pet-focused design were broadly liked, especially for owners of shedding pets, though some reviewers noted pets may need acclimation or may be scared by noise.

Hair-removal channel evidence is limited and mixed, with one reviewer seeing significant long-hair tangling after a measured hair test.

Hair-removal issues remained a caveat: long hair, string, and dust clumps could still stick or require manual clearing despite strong tangle resistance.

Maintenance is generally considered easy, supported by washable filters, alerts, easy brushroll access, and simple cleaning steps, though occasional hair removal remains.

Maintenance requirements were a strength because the OmniHub reduced filter, tube, brush, and bin work, though periodic manual care remains.

Runtime is one of the strongest consensus positives, especially when two batteries effectively double cleaning time for large homes.

Runtime was generally adequate to strong in auto/low modes, but reviewers noted max mode is much shorter and battery life is a weight tradeoff.

Medium-pile carpet performance is strongly positive, including deep-clean testing and broader V11 evidence of excellent carpet cleaning.

Carpet feedback ranged from excellent pickup to slower fine-dust cleanup; most reviews still found carpet cleaning above average or very effective.

Clogging evidence is positive but limited, with one review noting that extra-large debris did not get stuck in the intake.

The only direct clog-prevention evidence came from PureCyclone comments that linked separation of dust and air with sustained suction.

Kid-friendliness evidence is limited but positive, with one household saying easy access even got the kids using it.

Kid-friendliness had narrow but positive evidence from a reviewer who said a 2.5-year-old could maneuver the vacuum.

Storage feedback is mixed: wall docks and organized charging help, but reviewers dislike that it cannot stand alone or that docks may not hold every attachment.

Storage feedback was mixed: some liked the relatively small footprint and integrated station, while others warned the tall base is furniture-like or has a large footprint.

Tangle resistance is generally good thanks to Dyson brush design and detangling tools, though very long hair can still wrap.

Hair-wrap resistance was strong overall, with praise for long-hair tangle performance, though one review still noted it was not perfect.

Versatility is praised in reviews that highlight broad attachment use, hard-to-reach cleaning, and switching among floors, furniture, and car tasks.

Versatility was praised because it works as both a stick vacuum and handheld and can handle multiple surfaces and above-floor jobs.

The Outsize is repeatedly framed as a heavy-duty cordless option for large homes, big messes, and near-upright cleaning demands.

Heavy-duty suitability had limited but positive evidence, mainly from one reviewer's praise for cleaning large messes.

Under-furniture pickup is a strength because the stick design and top-mounted bin let it lie low and reach under beds, couches, and tables.

Under-furniture pickup had positive evidence from TechRadar, which found the vacuum maneuverable enough to duck under furniture.

The oversized bin is one of the strongest points: reviewers like the large capacity and fewer emptying stops, though it contributes to bulk.

The bagless bin system was a recurring strength: reviewers liked the large base canister, bagless design, and the practical capacity compared with a small onboard bin.

Emptying is mostly praised as easy and hygienic, but some reviewers note stuck debris or the large bin making handling less tidy.

Emptying and mess control was a core strength thanks to the auto-empty dock, though TechRadar found hair could sometimes hang on the bin door.

Above-floor and upholstery cleaning is useful with the right tools, especially for hair, but handheld weight limits comfort for longer or cramped jobs.

Above-floor and upholstery use was viewed positively because the vacuum is light, maneuverable, and paired with useful handheld tools.

Area-rug handling is mixed: auto suction helps transitions, but very high suction can cling to rugs and make cleaning feel like a workout.

Area-rug and floor-transition handling was mixed, with one reviewer finding rug transitions easy and another noting problems at wood-to-carpet transitions.

Onboard storage is mixed: wand clips and mounted tools help, but some reviewers complain about missing bags or docks that do not hold every accessory.

Tool storage was mixed: standard accessories stored neatly on the base, but the FurFree kit lacked an attractive storage spot.

Cordless convenience is a major strength, with reviewers emphasizing easier room-to-room cleaning, no outlet hunting, and faster everyday use.

Cordless convenience was framed as a major quality-of-life benefit, especially for users moving from plug-in vacuums.

Large-debris hard-floor intake is generally strong but not flawless, with some reviewers noting scatter, pushing, or worse results in difficult tests.

Large-debris hard-floor performance was mixed: some tests were excellent, while Homes & Gardens found large piles could be pushed around.

Innovation evidence is positive, with reviewers pointing to major cordless advances and Dyson designs that competitors copied.

Innovation was a standout strength, with Vacuum Wars giving the FurFree model a 2025 Most Innovative Cordless Vacuum award for its bagless self-cleaning station.

Tool changes are generally praised as quick and simple, with reviewers calling out quick-release buttons, easy accessory swaps, and improved brushroll access.

Tool changes and wand attachment were described as simple, with one reviewer emphasizing that the wand clicks in with minimal effort.

Small-space suitability is a recurring weakness because reviewers say the Outsize is overkill for apartments and harder to fit into narrow areas.

Small-space suitability was a recurring caveat because several reviewers said the tall base may not fit every space.

Hair pickup on carpets is a standout strength in pet-heavy homes, with reviewers describing deeply embedded pet hair being pulled from carpets.

Hair pickup on carpets was excellent in the Homes & Gardens test, with all hair removed on the first pass.

Filtration is strongly praised across reviews, with sealed HEPA-style systems and dust containment repeatedly described as keeping fine particles inside the vacuum.

Filtration received strong marks where tested, with Vacuum Wars calling it top-tier and sealed-HEPA-like after a smoke test.

The tool set is widely praised for versatility, upholstery, crevices, pet hair, and hard-to-reach jobs, though one reviewer disliked the lack of an accessory carrying bag.

Attachments were generally praised, including the motorized upholstery brush, crevice/dusting tool, and FurFree options, though TechRadar wanted a fuller attachment set in the box.

Overall sentiment is strongly favorable for large-home use, with reviewers praising performance heavily while repeatedly warning about weight and price.

Overall opinion was strongly positive across reviews, with repeated recommendations, awards, high ratings, and statements that reviewers liked or were impressed by the vacuum.

Hair pickup on hard floors is strongly positive where tested, with reviewers describing fur, food crumbs, and dust being removed easily.

Hair pickup on hard floors was excellent in the Homes & Gardens test, where the vacuum collected all hair in one run.

Fine-dust pickup on hard floors is usually strong, especially with laser/fluffy-style heads, though one hard-floor stress test found average results.

Fine-dust pickup on hard floors was generally strong, though Homes & Gardens found some residue remained in wood cracks on the first run.

Edge and baseboard cleaning evidence is positive but limited, with one reviewer surprised by how well the Outsize handled baseboard debris.

Edge cleaning was a weakness in the Homes & Gardens test, where the vacuum initially picked up barely anything along the wall edge.

Noise feedback is mixed: some reviewers find it quieter than expected or comfortable in lower modes, while others complain that higher settings are loud.

Most reviewers described the handheld vacuum itself as quiet or lighter-sounding than expected, while dock noise is treated separately because the self-clean cycle was much louder.

Reviewers repeatedly praise the Outsize for class-leading cordless suction, upright-like airflow, and strong pickup, with only rug drag and weight-related control as side effects.

Reviewers found cleaning power ranged from acceptable to excellent: several praised strong pickup and suction, while Vacuum Wars and Homes & Gardens noted only average or merely reasonable suction in tougher tests.

Comparative comments are positive for performance, with reviewers placing the Outsize ahead of many cordless competitors and even near full-size uprights in some tests.

Comparative performance was mixed: it beat or compared well with some Dyson, Shark, Samsung, and LG alternatives on features, weight, or value, but some rivals had stronger suction.

Cyclone evidence is limited but positive, with the Outsize’s cyclone system tied to powerful, fade-free suction.

Cyclone performance had limited evidence, but the cited review connected PureCyclone separation with clog prevention and strong suction.

Ownership-cost comments are favorable where mentioned because washable filters and reusable parts keep routine maintenance costs low.

Bagless ownership was viewed positively because reviewers said it avoids replacement dust bags, saving money and reducing waste.

Durability expectations are positive where mentioned, with reviewers describing the Outsize as a top-line product with quality and longevity.

Durability evidence was limited; one reviewer raised concerns about the non-removable battery's long-term lifespan despite Tineco's stated battery design claims.

Handheld conversion is useful for furniture, cars, and patio areas, but several reviewers find the large bin and heavy body awkward in handheld use.

The handheld conversion was praised as practical because the lightweight motor made above-floor and furniture cleaning manageable.

Low-profile cleaning is praised because the cleaner head and stick layout can reach under low furniture and narrow spots.

Low-profile reach was praised by TechRadar, which said the vacuum could duck under furniture and reach tight spaces.

The wider floorhead is praised for coverage and speed in large areas, though some reviewers note it sacrifices agility in tight spaces.

The floorhead design was praised for its front gates and thoughtful debris intake, though some surface-safety caveats appeared elsewhere.

Design comments are positive overall, describing the vacuum as sleek, slim, smart-looking, and not bulky despite its large cleaning hardware.

Reviewers consistently liked the polished, elegant, or eye-pleasing design, often saying it looks good enough to leave out.

Build quality evidence is limited but positive, with one reviewer calling it a top-of-the-line product expected to last years.

Build quality was praised in the hands-on reviews, with comments about seamless construction, premium feel, and a smart overall build.

The LCD and controls are frequently praised for runtime countdowns, mode changes, and maintenance prompts, though the trigger is a recurring ergonomic complaint.

Controls and displays were mostly appreciated for clear information and self-explanatory controls, but some reviewers criticized the lack of a real-time battery readout or imperfect trigger placement.

Smart suction and automation are consistently praised, especially auto mode that adjusts power by floor type to balance cleaning and runtime.

Smart features were a major strength, especially iLoop dirt sensing, auto suction adjustment, displays, and app/self-clean controls.

Setup is usually described as easy or straightforward, although one reviewer was initially overwhelmed by the number of parts before sorting them.

Assembly was described as very easy, with reviewers noting the OmniHub and wand snap together without tools or fuss.

Value opinions are mixed: many reviewers think the performance justifies the price for large homes, while others flag it as very expensive or not the best V11 value.

Value was mixed but often positive: several reviewers felt the feature set justified the premium, while others advised waiting for a sale or called it pricey.

Battery feedback is highly positive overall, especially for swappable batteries, dual-battery setups, and the ability to keep cleaning without long interruptions.

Charging convenience was praised where discussed because the dock keeps the vacuum ready with a full battery.

Airflow blowback evidence is limited and negative, with one reviewer bothered by warm vented air hitting their face or hands in close work.

Dock noise was a clear drawback, with reviewers calling the self-emptying/cleaning cycle very loud, though brief.

The self-cleaning cycle was one of the strongest features, repeatedly praised for cleaning the brush, tube, filter, and vacuum with little user effort.

Stair evidence is limited but positive in a pet-owner review that praised fast, deep cleaning on bedrooms and stairs.

High-pile carpet results are mixed: suction helps deep cleaning, but some reviewers found thick carpet hard to push or problematic for large debris.

Low-pile carpet pickup is consistently strong, with multiple tests describing flawless or near-flawless performance.

Hard-floor seal evidence is very positive, with reviewers linking strong crevice pickup and hard-floor performance to an excellent cleaner-head seal.

Hose feedback is limited and negative, with one reviewer finding the extension hose less useful because it added handling faff.

Odor control evidence was narrow but positive, with one reviewer specifically liking the scented HEPA filter effect.

Scratch resistance was a mild concern because one reviewer warned the glossy surfaces could scratch.

Stuck-resistance evidence is negative and limited, with extreme suction on rugs described as making the vacuum difficult to move.

Docking and auto-empty reliability was praised for keeping the vacuum clean and auto-emptying quickly, despite occasional hair remaining on the bin door.

Support evidence is limited and negative, with one reviewer reporting that Dyson support directed them to Amazon rather than solving the issue.
